For this summer only, I am working from Fontana Buona, a lovely rustic renovated farmhouse with an artists’ studio and garden located in Baschi, Umbria.
Orvieto, famous for its wines and cathedral is only a few kilometres away and Assisi, Perugia and Todi are within easy reach A one hour train journey takes you to Rome.
Fontana Buona can sleep four or five on a B &B basis and is the perfect location for small groups; quiet and rural with a five minute walk to the village of Baschi.
Courses run from June through August and are offered on a full or half day basis- perfect for those who want to explore their creative side and the region.
Baschi-where it is and how to get there. Nearest airports; Rome or Perugia. By train from Rome. From Rome’s Termini station catch the train to Terni or Orvieto. If you contact us we can pick you up at Terni station or you can catch the bus from Orvieto to Baschi. Flights to Perugia are also very convenient if you have a car hire. See maps
